Jewellery
Students may wear one small plain stud per ear.
Bracelets and rings are not permitted. Religious necklaces are permitted, but they must not be visible.
Students wearing items of jewellery that are not permitted will be asked to remove them and
they will be held in a safe for the remainder of the school term. At the end of Term, items can be collected from Student Hub.
Piercings
Ear piercings are permitted with the correct jewellery
Grooming and Makeup
Makeup is not permitted. Coloured nail polish and long false nails are not permitted.
Boys must be clean shaven.
Hairstyles
Hair must be clean, neatly styled and natural in colour and be kept off the face, ears and collar.
Accessories must be discreet, small and plain in colour.
- Hair length below the collar should be tied back or kept off the face with a band. No hair should fall across the face or cover the eyes or ears.
- Extreme hairstyles are not permitted (e.g. shaved hair less than number two blade, severe variations in hair length and/or colour).
- Hair must be natural in colour. Moderate and discrete variations in natural colour such as highlights, tips and streaks are permitted as long as the overall style is predominantly a single natural colour.
Wearing the uniform correctly
The school expects students to be well groomed at all times when wearing the school Uniform.
If an item of uniform needs to be repaired or is unavailable, an alternate is to be worn and a signed note from a parent or guardian explaining the reason is to be given to the class teacher in the morning.
The Sports uniform is not be worn as an alternative.
Students in breach of uniform expectations will be asked to correct the issue, and/or be asked to stay at home until the issue is corrected.
